British coppers from the Thames Valley Police (TVP) recently responded to a tip about a cannabis grow operation in Oxford, England. The police not only “seized and destroyed” the “cannabis plantation,” bus also left a hilarious note for the growers. They also tweeted a photo of the note from their official twitter account.
"Ooops! Sorry we missed each other," wrote a TVP police officer. "But feel free to call me on 101 so we can discuss a deal. Lots of love, TVP xx."

Reactions from the twittersphere were mixed.
And rightly so! What a total waste of time busting a personal grow. People don't want to go into black market. Police should support them.— Cardiff Cannabiscafe (@c_cannabiscafe) July 10, 2017
Wow so funny, while you're off digging up harmless plants people are being burgled and assaulted— Pumptruffle (@pumptruffle) July 10, 2017

Although Britain has loosened its cannabis laws over the last few years, the growers, if found, still face a maximum penalty of 14 years in prison as well as fines.
